Teaching

Jonathan teaches in Berlin, Germany at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, where he serves as coach for the vocal department. He is also on the faculty of the Barenboim-Said Akademie, where he works with the students of Frans Helmerson and Mihaela Martin. In addition, he returns regularly to lead masterclasses for the Samling Institute, and was a frequent guest on the coaching staff of the Internationale Meistersinger Akademie. Each summer he returns to the Academia Vocalis as pianist for Christa Ludwig’ class, as well as to the Verbier Festival as mentor and coordinator for the Piano Academy.
