Wigmore Hall London, The Sea - Samling Showcase with Madison Nonoa, Angharad Lyddon, Nick Pritchard, Julien Van Mellaerts and Kunal Lahiry

Six alumni of the renowned Samling Artist Programme present Samling Institute’s annual showcase concert, based around song cycles with a maritime theme. Sibelius’s watery creation myth Luonnotar and Elgar’s Sea Pictures are both performed in the composers’ own piano versions alongside Rimsky-Korsakov’s rarely-heard cycle U Morya and Fauré’s L’horizon chimérique.
